Berta Kay is a Reiki Master, Psychic and Medium, Empath and Animal Communicator and is originally from the Westchester/Putnam Area.  Berta Kay has over 40 years of professional experience reading tarot cards, oracle cards and past lives.

Berta Kay does her readings, healings and teachings with Light, Love and Blessings and uses oracle and tarot cards.  She is available for individual readings (in person, phone or internet,) special occasions and parties.

Berta Kay also offers classes about tarot and Healing energies, how to read tarot or oracle cards, how to work with angels and archangels and teaches Reiki 1, 2 and Master levels. Spirit circles are also offered and conducted by Berta Kay.

Jenifer West will be attending the festival offering Reiki Sessions.

Jen is a Reiki Master Healer having received her Reiki Master certificate in 2001 after completing a year long Master program with Reiki Arts Continuum in NYC.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.  It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.  If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

Announcing that GP’s Honey Tomes will be presented by Dr. Angela Parrino at the festival.

GP's Honey Tomes is the publisher of children's books with wellness themes. Their books are appropriate for children ages 3-9 and focus on the six principal areas of wellness - physical, mental, emotional, interpersonal, environmental and spiritual. 

These books include sub-themes such as conflict resolution and anti-bullying/anti-discrimination.

Angela Parrino, Ph.D., the founder of the company, is a former tenured associate professor at CUNY-Hunter College. Angela has both teaching and staff development experience in the areas of English as a Second Language, Bilingual, and Foreign Language Education; she’s trilingual (English, Spanish and Italian) and a published author.  She has taught in New York City public schools and colleges as well as abroad in South America and Europe.  She has made numerous presentations on varied topics in education and language learning.
